Writing Clearly: Study the Grammar Guidelines for Verb Forms, pages 36-43. Can you find an error on page 41? Do exercises 1 - 3 (pages 43-44) in your book.********************************** Looking Ahead: Study pages 4-6. Do Activity 1-1 (pages 4-5) in a bluebook and bring it to class on Monday. In your bluebook, please single space and use both sides of each page, but don't write in the margins.

Writing Clearly: Study pages 28-36. Write answers to the first two questions at the top of page 31 TO TURN IN. Do the pretest on page 32 and then check your answers. Write the numbers of the items that you miss (e.g., Pretest: 3, 7) at the bottom on your page 31 homework. ********************************* Looking Ahead: Study pages xix-xx and pages 214-217 (section 1A Sentences). Notice: Please buy either a large or small blue book to use for your learner's notebook (available in the bookstore).
